One of the exquisite index machines. Typing both upper and lower case via the circular index from the single typewheel. Metallic type slugs are in array around the typewheel. A scarce typewriter with a rare walnut case. Circa 1885.

Beginning around 1888, this company also produced the Barlock Typewriter, later called the Columbia Barlock and Royal Barlock Typewriter.
